Catherine Westover

'Masaomi and I moved to France (via England, Japan and England) in 2006 to renovate a stone barn in Normandy. I am currently working as Head of Department of Values (Religious Education) at the International School of the Sacred Heart (ISSH) in central Tokyo, which offers a wonderful Catholic liberal education to girls of all faiths and of various nationalities (around 50 nationalities). I previously worked at ISSH as a teacher in 2001-2002 and was delighted to be asked back as HOD last year. Masaomi and I still have our special home in Normandy, where we spend two months of the Summer when we can escape the heat and humidity of Tokyo and catch up with our good friends. Masaomi and I are now married and are enjoying a rich and fulfilling life in various ways together.'
