Blackfriars Hall admits students to the Oxford University PGCE course, which prepares students to teach in secondary schools (covering the 11-19 age range), in the following subject areas:

All applications to the PGCE at Oxford must be made through UCAS Teacher Training. Applications can be made online through their website.

You can find information about the Hall's grants, scholarships and bursaries here, and information fees and finance prepared by the university here.

We welcome enquiries from disabled students. The nature of our old buildings inevitably makes access difficult to some areas, We have various contingency plans which can be brought into effect and we regard problems as challenges to be overcome. Please contact the Academic Administrator, Ms. Lucy Traves, directly and let us know what your needs are: in most cases we can and will meet them.
