Ralph Weir – MSt Ancient Philosophy 2010-11, BPhil Philosophy 2013-15

Ralph spent five years studying philosophy at Blackfriars as well as serving as Junior Dean for a year and teaching philosophy and ancient Greek. His research focussed on metaphysics and aesthetics. He benefitted enormously from the numerous academic opportunities at Blackfriars and from the presence of leading thinkers such as Stephen Priest and Roger Scruton. He is now an AHRC scholar at the University of Cambridge where he is writing a doctoral thesis in the philosophy of mind, and keeps up his connection with Blackfriars through teaching and collaborative projects.
