New book published by Blackfriars tutor

Louisa Stuart Costello: A Nineteenth-Century Writing Life traces the fascinating life of this writer, who published in several genres, including travel writing, novels, poetry and articles.  Costello’s early life in France is evident in her writing, and her extensive knowledge of French history informs many of her works.  Dr Broome Saunders’s previous publications include works on Nineteenth Century Medievalism, Women Writers, and Travel Writing.
