Service Times

'Be assiduous in prayer at the appointed hours and times...When you pray to God in psalms and hymns let the words you utter be pondered in your hearts' (St Augustine, Rule, 2.1 and 3).

All are welcome to join the Dominican community for Mass and the Divine Office, which are celebrated publicly every day. A Sunday morning Mass is also celebrated at which families with young children are especially welcomed.

6:45pm Vespers


8:05am Lauds

8:30am Conventual Mass

1:05pm Office of Readings and Midday Prayer

6:15pm Mass (Vigil Mass)

7:00pm First Vespers of Sunday


8:00am Mass

8:45 Lauds

9:30am Family Mass

1:05pm Office of Readings and Midday Prayer

6:15pm Conventual Mass with sung Vespers


Times of Confessions

Confessions are available in the church on Saturdays 12.30-1pm and 5.30-6.10pm. Confessions are also available throughout the week by asking in the lodge ( Monday - Friday: 9am-1pm and 2-5pm (4pm on Fridays)).


Times of Masses and Confessions: St Aloysius' (Oxford Oratory) and the Catholic Chaplaincy

The nearby Parish Church of St Aloysius Gonzaga is served by the Fathers of the Oratory and the University of Oxford Catholic Chaplaincy is served by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and is also close by. Times of Masses and Confessions at St Aloysius' can be found here and times of Masses at the Catholic Chaplaincy can be found here


Polish Services
