The Institute seeks practical answers to today’s social questions, in the light of Catholic social teaching and theology.
Inspired by the 16th-century Dominican friar and father of modern human rights, Bartolomé de Las Casas, we bring insights from this intellectual tradition to bear on hard and urgent questions facing contemporary society.
What we Do
Our academic research engages with policy-makers, leaders of organisations, and people ‘on the ground’, in the fields of Human Dignity, Re-thinking Economics, Migration, and Poverty in the UK.
