Alumni Resource – Introducing the Oxford Alumni Community website

From 2015 there is a brand-new resource for Oxford University alumni – the Oxford Alumni Community website.

Its purpose is to help you network – both personally and professionally – with other alumni from the University of Oxford and from Blackfriars Hall in particular.

These are some of the key ways it could be useful to you:

1. Connect with fellow alumni. Search for people you remember or half-remember, and reconnect with them. Share your pictures, message them, etc.
2. Receive or offer mentoring. Find people who work in your industry, who could help you move forward in your career – or offer your own experience to others.
3. Find job opportunities. Companies who value Oxford graduates are looking for you!
4. Event notifications. Don’t miss out! Event notifications from across the University in areas which interest you.

As you will see, the website lets you connect via LinkedIn or Facebook if you wish, so it feeds notifications into your preferred online platform – or of course you can just handle everything via Email.

The website will be undergoing further development in the coming months with new features going live in the new year.
