Dr Calum Miller

Research Fellow

Dr Calum Miller is a Research Fellow at Blackfriars Hall and a medical doctor working in the NHS. He completed his degree in Medicine and Surgery at St Hugh’s College, University of Oxford, in 2015, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from the University of Manchester in 2018.

Dr Miller’s research interests focus on medical ethics and public policy, particularly with regard to beginning of life ethics, including the ethics of abortion and related matters. He has also published on animal pain, academic freedom, and other questions in philosophy of religion, metaphysics and epistemology.
