Fr Nicanor Austriaco OP

Friday 11th April 2014

Fr Nicanor is an Assistant Professor of Biology and an Instructor of Theology at Providence College, Rhode Island. He is also an Investigator of the Rhode Island-INBRE Program of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and a staff ethicist at the Dominican Friars Health Care Ministry of New York, New York, NY. From 2005 to 2007, he served as a consultant to the Committee on Science and Human Values of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. 

Fr Nicanor is spending 2014 working with the Anscombe Bioethics Centre, which has a close association with Blackfriars. You can read more about his involvement with Anscombe on their website.
