Visiting Research Scholar

Blackfriars Hall is delighted to welcome Dr Barbara Walters, of the Catholic University of New York, for a six-month sabbatical at the Hall. Dr Walters is one of the authors of 'The Feast of Corpus Christi' and will spend her time in Oxford working on a study of historical and sociological aspects of the Eucharist.

Catholic Social Teaching and Legal Institutions Seminars

A series of seminars on Catholic Social Teaching and Legal Institutions will take place on 29 April, 6 May, 13 May, and 20 May from 2.30pm until 4pm in the Aula, Blackfriars Hall, St Giles, Oxford OX1 3LY.
Each seminar will consist of a one-hour lecture followed by a short commentary, with an opportunity for questions. The seminars, which are free and open to the public, are made possible by the support of the Earhart Foundation.

Migration, Faith and Action: Shifting the Discourse
