Blackfriars Priory – Our Needs
1. Sustaining the Community of Friars
Our priory houses up to 30 men at any one time, with the majority involved in full-time study or academic life within Blackfriars.
They need feeding, clothing, books and computers for their studies and preaching, and so on.
2. Maintaining our Historic Buildings
Our beautiful chapel and priory buildings are the home of our community and welcome many within their doors.
As they grow older, the maintenance costs increase, with works need on roofs, stonework, windows, and so on.
