Poverty and the Pandemic in Oxford
Blackfriars Poverty in Britain Group is holding its next event online, in partnership with the Las Casas Institute for Social Justice
We welcome a panel of speakers to discuss the impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had on people experiencing poverty in Oxford, and how the situation has highlighted existing inequalities and made confronting them more urgent.
Rev. Mary Gurr, who has for many years worked with rough sleepers in Oxford, and is Chair of Trustees of Oxford Winter Night Shelter
Jabu Nala-Hartley, Chair of the Oxford Living Wage Campaign
Sarah Flexen, who runs the Social Prescribing programme at Hedena Health, a large GP surgery in Headington and Barton
