But as things become more routine, it’s important that we continue to observe the precautions and systems that have been put in place. Please bear in mind the following when coming to Mass at Blackfriars.
Before Mass – Book a place
Since reopening, we have had a booking system in place for attending Mass, this is partly so that we can have details of those who have attended should there be any problems or concerns about the spread of the virus. However, now that the summer is beginning to draw to a close, and Masses are becoming busier, we ask you to continue to use the booking system so as to ensure that you will have a place at Mass. You can book a place via Eventbrite.
Bookings can only be honoured until 6pm, so please arrive in good time for Mass. The church is opened about 10 or 15 minutes before each Mass.
Since the 8 August, it has been compulsory to wear a mask or face covering for Mass, unless you are exempted by government guidelines. We ask all people who attend Mass at the priory to please observe this directive.
Please follow the directions of the stewards and the servers.
For those unable to attend Mass, the daily Conventual Mass is still livestreamed. The student brothers
