Blackfriars Students live it up at the Dodo Disco

13th June 2024

For the third year in a row, the PPHs of Oxford were able to enjoy a very special Ball together at the Museum of Natural History.

This ball has become a well-cherished tradition not only for the PPH students, but also for our partners including the museum, and the providers of entertainment and catering who have worked with us year after year to make this event as successful as possible.

As in the past two years, we hosted over 300 PPH and graduate students at this unique venue for an evening of museum exhibitions, music, cocktails and dancing. We were especially thrilled to have two Oxford student groups perform at the event (Donut Kings and Garfunkel) who both set very high bars for entertainment.

This year was particularly special as the “Dodo Disco” was the first PPH Ball to have student involvement from all four PPHs in planning and advertising. This ball is a rare opportunity for the PPHs to come together as a community and I hope that this tradition continues for many years to come!
