Photo Competition – all invited to take part
12th March 2020
Blackfriars now has a shiny new annexe building, but lots of blank walls, so we are planning to fill some of the common areas with photos showing the life of Blackfriars.
Among these we want to include some photos taken by our friends, past and present, so enter our simple competition and your photo could soon be printed on canvas and gracing our walls!
This competition is open to anyone with photos of people at Blackfriars – we are especially keen to see photos of everyday life here. Entering is very simple: just read through the details below and then email us your best photos. The best will be framed and put on display; runners-up photos will be shown on our website.
How to take part
- Select up to 3 good-quality digital photos. (Higher-resolution; in focus and not blurred)
- Permissions and privacy: Photos must be your own personal work. In sending us your photos, you agree to their being published on our website as well as printed for display. In sending us your photos, we will assume that you have the permission of any identifiable persons in the images, and in the case of children, the permission of their parent or guardian, for the sharing and publishing of these photos.
- Send your photos by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Note: if the file size is large, you may need to send them one image per email, or send us a link via a file-sharing website, otherwise the email may bounce. We will try to acknowledge all emails received.
- The closing date is extended to the end of April.
The winning selection will be made by us and announced in May. Winners will be invited to view their work on display in the new building; once restrictions on movement are lifted, everyone will also be welcome to visit the new annexe building and view the photo prints (just contact the Development Office to arrange a visit).
