With a PhD in law and morality from Poland, Dawid has delved into diverse areas such as abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality, and many more. His passion for indigenous cultures in the Arctic drives his research on customary laws and indigenous rights. Moreover, he explores the intersections of law, morality, and religion. At UEF School of Theology, he delves into ‘Controversies and challenges of religion and law in Europe’ and other courses such as ‘Religion in Poland’, ‘Jews in Poland’ and ‘Good governance, the rule of law and religious freedom for sustainable development’. As a law and religion scholar, Dawid examines state-church relations, religious freedom, and ethical foundations of economy.
Excited to continue his research in the social sciences, Dawid coordinates ‘Global migration and European identity’ course and explores topics such as ‘Populism in East Central Europe’ and ‘Legal essentials of international trade’. He teaches jurisprudence and legal logic and currently co-editing ‘Sacred places in the Arctic and beyond’ for Routledge.
