Dr Rebekah Wallace is a Junior Research Fellow at Blackfriars. She works in Philosophy and Theology, specializing in Science & Religion and Metaphysics. Her main area of interest is embodied cognition theory. Embodied cognition explains how living bodies “mind” due to the unique structure of biological life. She puts this holistic philosophy of life and mind into dialogue with neo-Aristotelian and Thomist anthropologies. In doing so, she is interested in questions of the soul, mind, human identity, moral action, and the relationship between epistemology & ontology.
