Dr Ryosuke Matsumura

Visiting Scholar, Member of the Aquinas Institute

Dr Ryosuke Matsumura is a Visiting Scholar at Blackfriars Hall. He received his PhD from Kyoto University and is a philosopher whose research focuses on medieval moral psychology, with particular attention to Thomas Aquinas’s account of the passions. Alongside his work on medieval philosophy, he has a broader interest in contemporary ethical debates, including discussions of moral enhancement.
