Rev Dr Reginald Lynch OP

Senior Research Fellow, Director Aquinas Institute, Departmental Lecturer in Medieval/Scholastic Theology

Reginald Lynch is Senior Research Fellow and Departmental Lecturer in Medieval and Scholastic Theology (Faculty of Theology and Religion, University of Oxford), and serves as Director of the Aquinas Institute at Blackfriars Hall.  His research focuses on a range of of issues in the History of Christianity area, especially medieval and early modern theology.  He is the author of The Cleansing of the Heart: The Sacraments as Instrumental Causes in the Thomistic Tradition (CUA 2017), and Aquinas’s Summa Theologiae and Eucharistic Sacrifice in the Early Modern Period (OUP, 2024).
