Thinking about work – discussion group

If men and women are made in God’s image, then human work must have something divine about it. If societies are supposed to be just, then the work that people do should be justly rewarded. We will look at highlights of modern Catholic thinking about work and worker justice, from Cardinal Manning in the 1870s to Pope Benedict in 2009, with a glance at the Jewish philosopher Simone Weil.
