Disability Support
If you have a disability, it is important that you let us know about it, so we can provide you with appropriate support while you’re studying at with us. We will then make every effort we can to make adjustments to accommodate your needs.
The nature of our old buildings inevitably makes access difficult to some areas, but all major spaces in the Hall are now accessible by wheelchair.  If you would like information about library provision, please contact the library assistant.
Dr Clare Broome Saunders is responsible for Disability Support at Blackfriars. Â Please direct all enquiries to her; she will then be able to direct you to other staff if necessary for further information about accommodation or other support.
University Equality and Diversity, Disability Office
The University runs a Disability Advisory Service (DAS), which is a part of Student Welfare and Support Services. They provide information, advice and guidance on the way in which a particular disability may potentially impact on a student’s experience at the University and can assist with organising disability-related support. They can also guide you through your application for Disabled Students Allowance, or other disability-related funding.
The DAS website is a useful and informative resource – do check it out. Disclosure and study support forms can be found on it.
